By using Vocavoy, you agree to these terms.

The service

Vocavoy provides language lessons, practice sessions, pronunciation feedback, and an AI conversation tutor. Features may change over time. We aim to keep Vocavoy available but do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted.

AI features

Some content, including tutor replies, explanations, and parts of lessons, is generated by AI. It can occasionally be wrong. Don’t rely on it for anything critical (medical, legal, travel safety).

Fair use

Don’t misuse the service: no automated access, reverse engineering, attempts to disrupt the service, or using the tutor to generate harmful content. We may limit or remove access for misuse.

Leaderboards

Race standings show your first name (if you gave one), your nickname, your emoji avatar, and your weekly XP to other learners in your group. You can clear your name in the app at any time to race under your nickname only.

Community rules

Names and nicknames must not be offensive, sexual, hateful, or harassing, and must not contain links or contact details. Vocavoy filters these automatically. There is zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users: tap any learner on the race board to report or block them. We review reports within 24 hours and will reset names or remove users who break these rules.

Purchases & Subscriptions

Vocavoy offers free core lessons as well as optional auto-renewable subscriptions (Vocavoy Pro and Vocavoy Family). All purchases, trials, and renewals are handled directly through Apple and governed by Apple's standard In-App Purchase terms. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple ID settings.

Liability

Vocavoy is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

Changes

We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version. Continuing to use Vocavoy means you accept the update.
